    thank you so much for posting these... ideally ATG should provide us with ER diagrams as their documentation says (for CRS), so yours have been extremely helpful.

    Great diagrams! I used a website called Lucidchart to create my own er diagram and it was really easy to understand. If you use diagrams often you should check it out!

    i see that the SKU attribute names and values are not language dependent; how is multi-linguistics handled in ATG? thanks!

ATG search and Monitoring the request and response

To get an idea of the SearchEngineActivity logs, please read the blog :  http://tips4ufromsony.blogspot.com/2012/01/atg-search-and-search-engine-activity.html Other than using the SearchEngineActivity logs, we could monitor the search engine request/reponse  by enabling the monitoring in the SearchEngineService component @ /dyn/admin/nucleus/atg/search/routing/SearchEngineService. Once you enable this "monitoringEnabled", each request/response and the response time like last response time and average response time can be found @ SearchEngineService component. After you send a request to the search engine, just refresh the SearchEngineService component and you could see that the total command count will be incremented by one and the response time also get updated. If you click this total command count, a new window will be opened with the request and response details.

Intimation u/s 143(1) of the Income Tax act

Have you got your Income Tax filing e-receipt ? After a successful assessment of tax returns, income tax department issues Intimation u/s 143(1). Normally these intimations will be received through email to the Email address provided when filing income tax returns online. If “NET AMOUNT REFUNDABLE /NET AMOUNT DEMAND”  is less than Rs 100, you can treat this Intimation u/s 143(1) as completion of income tax returns assessment under Income Tax Act. It can be useful for the proof of Income/ Completion of income tax returns assessment. In case of demand , we need to pay the entire Demand within 30 days of receipt of this intimation.The payment can be made using the printed challan enclosed in the mail or you can go for online tax payment.
